Accessory Report: A little Punk and A Little Sweet

I must admit, I was the last to really jump on the gold jewelry band-wagon a few (okay, like ten) years ago, when gold made it's re-entry after the eighties backlash against anything gold. But now, I love it, and I hardly own anything else anymore.

Much of the gold I am seeing right now has a punk element, but with a delicate twist that really balances out the piece. Like this T. Cyia Dancing Skulls necklace. It is so delicate and yet when you get up close it is a little hard-core. I love that!

And I think it would look just perfect with this look I found at shopbop.com, by C&C California. I love these swing tops, and the wide belt can be worn in so many ways. And of course, the wide belt harkens back to the eighties again, but in an oh-so-modern way.
