Bags by Bea Valdes

Big bags are in but they're hardly the accessory to carry in the evenings. Its hard enough to navigate through a packed club...imagine doing so with something bulky slung over your shoulder. My friend Sasha made the mistake of doing so...and she soon became the repository of the group's mobile phones, car keys, wallets, etc. Poor thing. She should have gone for something like Bea Valdes's Aliche Subrosa and Sublime purses:

Aren't these bell-shaped beauties so sublime? The silk ribbon goes around your wrist, like a bracelet, and your fingers clutch the heavily-beaded ball. Now thats what I call sophisticated seduction.

It can probably fit in a mobile phone, a wallet, a small; palette of make up, lipstick, and car keys.

And, ladies, thats really all you'll ever need for the evening.

These are absolutely gorgeous. Like works of art. I wish the prices had been listed on their website, though. I don't want to keep wishing for things I can't have. :)

Hmmm. I know what you mean. My guess is that the bags are only available in malls and that the selling prices vary...
