Bikini is to Summer as Tweed is to Fall

When I asked my younger cousin what she associated autumn with, she promptly said, "pumpkins, falling leaves, cold air, and tweed". I think we have another budding fashionista in the house!

She is absolutely right, though. There is something about tweed that makes it so suitable for the season. For one, it keeps us cozy. Its texture and color also looks perfect against all those rusty reds and golden yellows.

The only problem I see with tweed is that it looks too scholarly at times. You have to wear it right, suit the best cuts that flatter your body or spice it up with the right accessories to avoid looking like the librarian.

Dior has a very nifty Tweed Kimono Dress. Unfortunately, it comes with a price tag thats not nifty at all :( .If you can find something as stylish and in tweed, do drop me a line!
