Dear Santa: More Jewelry Please!

So I was thinking, if they are already decorating for the holidays at all the shops, then why not start making my list? Here are my top jewelry choices for my friends if I had an unlimited budget; and maybe, just maybe, someone special will read this and (you know who you are) get some inspiration!

My first pick is this piece by Jeanine Payer called Daphne; Payer was one of the firsts to do the whole poetry-on-jewelry thing. I almost bought her rings for our wedding bands. I just think her work is so cool, and this necklace is no exception. I love the red rhodolite, but at $705.00 US, it is a bit pricey. It's for someone who's been really good this year, I guess you could say.

My next pick is this sweet gold sparrow necklace by Pade Vavra from blueluxe.com. At $99.00 US I think it is so perfect for my best friend (and new mommy). A little something special.

And for those of us in need of a little energetic guidance, there are these necklaces by Energy Muse. My favorite is the turquoise Health necklace shown here at left ($90.00 US). I know people aren't wearing turquoise like they used to, but it is said to have medicinal properties. And who can't use a little healing and good health for the new year to come?
