D-I-Y Bag Design

*Sigh* there really could only be one Kate Spade. I, for one, am much better at picking out bags than designing them (check out the evidence, to the right). But that doesn't mean I didn't have fun tinkering with 1154 Lill Studio, a fabulous website that allows you to design your own bag! I mean, what a great tool for closet bag designers. If you have a dream bag in mind, you dont have to wait for the proffessionals to conjure it...you can make it yourself. Who knows? This might even set you on that bright, glorious road to designer stardom. Think of it as your very own Project Runway sans Heidi Klum breathing down your neck.

How does it work? First, you choose the bag design...theres a full range of pouches, messenger bags, and purses for you to pick from, ranging from USD $25- USD $150. Then you click on the fabrics of your choise for the exterior, interior, pockets, and straps. The site promises new textile choices every week so its worth comming back to. Voila, you have your very own custom-designed bag. Now i'm going to make like Kate and think of a name for this baby...
