Fall Fashion is About Being in (Your) Best Behavior

This mad shopper wants to buy everything off the Best Behavior Fall/Winter 07 collection, not only because she is shopcrazy, but because nothing in her wardrobe closely resembles the Fall look. There's a cardigan there but it looks nothing like those cheerful, standard-issue cardigans I'd wear to work. This one is skinny, gray, and long- something you'd imagine a geriatric (albeit, still cool) supermodel would wear in her 70s. I see loose tunics and shirt dresses, the anti-thesis of a time when tight fitting and small was equivalent to being fashionable. I suspect that my baby tees, some which I kept from the 90 for sentimental reasons, will soon be used for sleepwear. I see boots galore, which- thankfully- I have many. A curious new addition is the sleek golf shoe (sans the spikes), which I first saw in many a New York Fashion Week 07 catwalk. The bowler shoes and the soccer shoes craze didn't last very long...I wonder if the golf shoe is worthy of an investment? Since this mad shopper can't afford to spend so much (lest we forget, Christmas is coming up sooner than we think!), perhaps the best she can do is distress a few hemlines here and there...and, fine, buy maybe one or three eensy weensy items from Best Behavior and the like.
