Fashion's Future Wonder Boy

I finally got to watch Hairspray yesterday and now I couldn't stop tapping my foot. Cans of hairspray have been conspicuously missing from the house for years now (it has been replaced by firming foam, styling wax, mousse, etc etc) but if there were, I would have festively spritz some into the air and have broken into song.

Zac Efron, who plays the role of a celebrity teenage hearthrob from the 1960s, was quite a revelation in the film adaptation of the musical. Give him a few years and he'll be certified red carpet material and sending me flowers.

In August alone, he scored coverage in two major glossies. This is him, cute as apple pie, on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine:

And this is him in the inside pages of Vanity Fair, joining the likes of Channing Tatum and Shia Labeouf in a feature on Hollywood's rising young male stars.

I predict many, many fashion endorsements for this one.
