Golden Globe Top 5

Which bagged the best foreign language film award at the Golden Globes? How about best screenplay? Best musical score? Now, tell me...who designed Cameron Diaz's swan like frou frou gown? The answer is Valentino (as if you didn't know...) Truth of the matter is that we watch these yearly awards shows as much for Hollywood's best as what Hollywood's best is wearing. Here are some style lessons that are exemplified in this year's Golden Globe Awards:

1. A short-hemmed number can make a bigger statement than the traditional floor-length gown (Reese Witherspoon in Nina Ricci)

2. If a certain cut or style looked good on you before, by all means, employ it again. All eyes were on JLo during the Cruise-Holmes pre-wedding bash in Italy when she sauntered in in this toga/sari-like dress which really flattered her figure. In the Golden Globes, she wears something similar by Marchesa.

3. The right color combination will do wonders for your outfit. Naomi Watt's turquoise dress looks prettier with those chocolate brown swirls at the side.

4. Delicate draping can turn a simple white sheath into art. Doesn't Drew look like a Greek goddess reborn in her Christian Dior?

5. Hmmm. Where is the lesson here...What with a Brad Pitt at her side, Angelina can wear a sack and still turn heads her way.There is nothing new with her gray gown but why, oh why, does she still look so fabulous? Be confident. Be happy. Be in love. And you will be the most beautiful woman in the room, regardless of what you're wearing.

i absolutely loved Reese's yellow gown. and her hair looked gorgeous.

i hated Beyonce's gown and Sienna Miller's.

Angelina's gown is gorgeous but i would've preferred it in different color. she looks good in everything but she's always on black, grey or white. i wanna see her in something vibrant.
