Lohan for Miu Miu

As expected, there's a lot of buzz around the Miu Miu 2007 ads, what with Lindsay Lohan lending her celebrity to the brand. This publicity can only bode well for Miu Miu but, sorry to say, having LLo centerbill your ads doesn't exempt you from looking...aesthetically awfull.

To begin with, what is the point of getting a celebrity to model when the intention is to cover her up under layers and layers of make-up? Perhaps the Italian label's intention was to highlight the contrast between those scarlet locks and porcelain white skin. The result? If you didn't tell me it was Lohan, i'd think it was any random, underfed model.

I'm not impressed with the styling of the ads either. Are these outfits the best of what Miu Miu can offer us for 2007?
