Loving L'Occitane

Somehow, i'll always associate L'Occitane with good luck or a charmed life. I first encountered their products when I was staying at this gorgeous boutique hotel in Taipei. I was pleasantly surprised to see mini L'Occitane bath and shampoo bottles by the bathtub. It was a refreshing change from those generic hotel bath items that just end up drying hair and skin. The next time I encountered it was last summer, on a side trip to Paris. I didn't go to Paris to shop...I dedicated what little time I had to whirlwind visits to museums, cafes, landmarks and, fine, stops at L'Occitane. There were (literally) buckets and buckets of their items, all almost 70% off. verbena%20cool%20stick.jpg

My favorite L'Occitane product right now is the Verbena cool stick.

This Cool Stick leaves your skin fragrant and feeling wonderfully fresh. Gently massage on wrists, temples and neck for an invigorating icy sensation. Infused with organic Verbena extract, and essential oils of orange, geranium and lemon, it cools and scents the skin, without dehydrating. As a convenient travel-size, you can easily slip it into your handbag for a refreshing touch-up any time of day.

It's almost the equivalent of a coffee break. When i'm stressed at work, I apply it to my pulse points and temples. Voila...southern-France-in-a-stick brings back thoughts of a charmed life.
