Oscar Awards 2007: The Fashion Report

Here's a confession...i've never really agreed with many of the Academy's picks for film excellence throughout the years. I watch the Oscars to compensate for falling asleep during the coverage of the New York/ Paris/ London Fashion Week. Haute couture on its own bores me so it must come with a big production number to catch my interest. And what bigger production number is there than the Oscars?

This year, stylish "unknowns" steal the show from the usual suspects. Forest Whitaker left the Awards with two things golden that evening- an Oscar for best male performer and his wife Keisha, resplendent in bright yellow silk.
