School Marm- Reinvented

If theres a label that takes girlish fashion to the next level, its Chulo Pony. Although Vancouver-based designers Chris Kopeck and Crystal Heald define their fall/winter 2006 collection as "East European with contemporary silhouettes" i'd say the look is more Victorian with a lot of modern detailing. Not that i'm complaining. Whoever can take out the school marm look away from the high-neck Victorian collar (read: lots of ruffles, dainty buttons, more ruffles) is wizard.

To maximize the dress's appeal, you can:

1. Wear your hair up
2. Accessorize with chandelier earrings
3. And finally, to complete the outfit, don high-heeled peeptoe shoes
