Shopping for Father's Day

I don't have an eye for men's clothing. While I enjoy shopping with my girl friends, i've never tried to give the men in my life a fashion makeover. I know what looks good on guys but please don't ask me to do the actual picking. The last time I shopped for a guy, I got him what was, for me, a safe choice...a sweater. It came in basic gray (goes well with anything!) and was made out of a stretchable fabric (suits any size!).

Father's day is coming up and I'd like to share my shopping list of stuff I'm considering for my dad. Notice how there isn't any clothing included :P.

1. Trunk-it Golf Gear Case- Perfect. My dad is crazy about golf but not too crazy about being organized. His golf clubs are stored in the family's common shoe cabinet and we all try not to get maimed by falling clubs.

2. Nike+ iPod Sport Kit - This is great because my dad goes jogging everday (something I have yet to emulate) and he'd find it cool to be able to run to the tempo of Led Zeppelin and Santana. I'm not sure I can afford the Nike shoe that comes with it though.

3. Home Depot Gift Card- Set my dad and my brothers loose in Home Depot and you wont be able to find them for hours. Perhaps they see something fascinating in bolts, screws, and the new tree branch cutting thingamajig the way I find beading, snakeskin leather, and twill fascinating? So I'm going to hand the gift card to my dad and he can do the picking.
