Yes, do a double take because the laptop has now officially evolved into a fashionable lifestyle accessory. The Ego (short for “easy-going device”, I kid you not) is the first laptop in the world that comes with interchangeable skins. Think about that- the fun that will go into switching from corporate teal into a wilder zebra print whenever you please. It would be easy to pass the Ego off as a pretty bag which runs on batteries but it has all the functions that I look for in a computer. In my case, that would be the wireless LAN and blue-tooth so that I can blog for Stylish anywhere and at anytime. It has an inbuilt microphone and webcam so I can gab away with those that matter even while I’m oceans away (haha, goodbye mobile phone bill that’s worth its weight in LV). If there’s a need to stave off boredom, there’s a DVD player and a CD burner. And since we don’t like complications, 15 direct access keys are built in so that one can access the most used functionalities with a single touch. But I must say that the pièce de résistance is…the handle allows you to carry it like a bag ;-) .
