Wine Tasting Essentials

One of our favorite traditions for Thanksgiving is wine tasting, and seeing that the American Thanksgiving is fast appraoching, I thought I would highlight some of our favorite wine tasting essentials. Shown at left is an elegant crystal decanter by Ridel Cornetto. Decanters really let a wine open up, so why not find one that does the job in style? Something like this is so artful to have on your wine tasting table.

And of course, everyone right now is buying these stemless wine glasses, shown right. I just love them because they are so modern, and easy to carry around a party. The only trick is keeping track of your own, since there is no stem to hang a wine glass marker from.

And certainly no wine tasting event would be complete without le formage. I have been seeing these olive wood boards everywhere, and I just adore them. They are so earthy and wabi-sabi. Check out this one from Williams Sonoma; such rich wood really sets off a selection of artisan cheeses.
